This is the second of a three part series of poems about Mountain Lions.
Creeping quietly through the night
looking for something that can bite.
Sneaking up without a sound
then there is that one great bound.
Now sound is all to hear
as it attempts to catch a deer.
It leaps up on that old creature
its claws are now its best feature.
It bites the deer and holds on tight.
It will have a feast tonight.
